How FIG Began
FIG began more than a decade ago after twelve restaurant franchise owners decided to protect themselves from the difficult market and premium increases of the post 9/11 economy. They were focused on creating an insurance solution that would provide necessary coverage, proactively reduce risk exposure and effectively manage premium cost. Thus, in 2003, FIG was formed.
FIG, a group captive insurance company, fulfills the original founding mission of revolutionizing the way restaurant managers manage risk and reduce insurance cost through loss control, claims management and peer collaboration.
